Squaw vine is a plant that grows in dry woods and bears fruit that is bright scarlet and edible. It is used to promote urination, as a tonic, as an astringent, and to help with menstrual cycles.
Squaw vine is used in health supplements today to ease symptoms associated with menstrual cycles.
