Quercetin is a flavonol (a type of flavonoid, an organic compound i, n plants) found in many fruits, vegetables, leaves, and grains. It is known for its antioxidant properties, which helps fight particles in the body that cause cellular damage. Quercetin can also help stabilize the cells that release histamine in the body.
Quercetin is used in health supplements today as an antioxidant and an antihistamine.
